I’m excited to share a new anthology, Museum Piece: an unusual collection, the latest release from B. Morris Allen, editor and publisher of the vast Metaphorosis empire.
I was eager to submit a story when Morris first called for submissions. I’ve worked with him on previous stories, and his editing insight is invaluable. I was also keen to write outside my usual horror genre, and craft an uplifting story. The result was my short story, The Museum of Inspiration.
It joins a TOC of fascinating tales from talented authors. As the blurb reads, this collection of stories is a gallery of the strange and outrageous. Here’s what you can expect:
- The Museum of Lost Dreams – Arlen Feldman
- The Museum of the Evolucalypse – Dominick Cancilla
- The Museum of Smells – John Joseph Ryan
- The Museum of Space Exploration – Marilee Dahlman
- The Museum of Identity – Abhijato Sensarma
- The Museum of Inspiration – Pauline Yates
- The Museum of Living Color – Ryan Cole
- The Museum of Fog – Alexander Danner
- The Museum Nihilo – Eve Morton
- The Museum of Glass – Marisca Pichette
- The Museum of Shifting Histories – Nathan Milner
- The Museum of Hydrological Phenomena – Lori J. Torone
- The Museum of the High Street – Vaughan Stanger
- The Museum of Unpopular Art – Mark Keane
- The Museum of Forsaken Things – Joanna Horrocks
- The Museum of Perpetual Service – Laurel Beckley
- The Museum of Fine Regrets – Chloe Smith
- The Museum of Suicide – M.J. Gardner
Released on 20th May, it’s currently available as an e-book and a 5.5″ x 8.5″ hardcover. The hardcover has a gorgeous slipcover (as pictured above), with an alternate cover inside. Even better, courtesy of Metaphorosis, I have a hardcover to giveaway (Australian residents only due to postage costs).
To win this fabulous hardcover, all you have to do is leave a comment telling me which museum from the above TOC intrigues you the most. Alternatively, send your answer via direct message to any of my socials – Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. I’ll randomly choose a winner on Friday 2nd June (a week from today).
Good luck!
