The 2023 Australasian Shadows Awards shortlist has been announced, and I am thrilled to learn that my poem, “What It Means To Be With You”, (HWA Poetry Showcase Volume X, Yuriko Publishing) has been nominated for an award in the poetry category.
I join a stellar list of poets and by the comments from the judges, all entries are worthy winners. I will keep my fingers crossed for my poem when the winner is announced later this year, but being nominated has inspired me to delve deeper into an area of writing I’ve only started to explore.
I congratulate all the nominees across all categories. Horror is alive and well in Australasia and I am proud to share this shortlist with many fabulous fellow authors.
